Pedestrian walkway Jalan Majlis ends at drain

The are citizens of Petaling Jaya SS3 who walks to and from the Taman Bahagia LRT Station along Jalan Bahagia.

Unfortunately, that walkway ends at something like a dead end, namely, at a drain. See photo and map below:

Previously pedestrians can then climb up to the parallel road Jalan SS3/88 and walk in safety sheltered from the traffic along Jalan Majlis. Unfortunately, the path to Jalan SS3/88 has now been fenced up and no longer available. Now pedestrians are forced to walk on the grass covered area beside Jalan Majlis and in danger of being knocked down by wayward passing traffic.

We hope MBPJ will complete the rest of the walkway in the interest of pedestrian safety and encourage more people to walk rather than drive.
